The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking on Tuesday revised upwards its forecast for this year’s growth in gross domestic product to between 4.4 per cent and 4.8 per cent.

A joint law review committee will be set up to review the MP election bill and the Senate bill after differences have emerged over some of their provisions.
